Defensive Shotgun

Service Description

This one-day class will expose students to the different types of shotguns, the fundamentals of defensive shotgun shooting, defensive ammunition, loading techniques and the different sights and accessories available for defensive shotguns. Additional live fire exercises include ranging and patterning buckshot and slugs, shooting on the move and shooting drills designed to increase your speed and accuracy. Pre-Requisite: Successful completion of Patriot’s Basic Shotgun Class Cost: $185.00 Course length: 1 day Start time: 9:00 am What to Bring • Shotgun: Pump action or semiautomatic 12 or 20 gauge • 200 rounds of birdshot • 25 rounds of buckshot • 20 slugs • Eye protection • Ear protection (electronic preferred) What to Wear • High-neck shirt/t-shirt • Closed-toe shoes • Pants or shorts with belt loops and loose pockets • Ball cap / sun visor
