Countering the Mass Shooter Threat 1

65 US dollars
Eagle Ridge Conference Center (Training Site)

Service Description

In this 1st of 2 classes, we have analyzed data gathered from 48 mass shootings that have occurred since Columbine, to determine what can be learned from these tragedies, including whether a reduction in magazine capacity or the banning of any class of firearm would have changed the outcome. We also look at whether “gun-free” zones figure into the planning of these mass murderers; whether victim response at any mass shooting has made a difference; and whether “universal background checks” or other proposals by gun control advocates stand a chance of stemming the current trajectory of these shootings. We summarize this data with a comprehensive plan designed to eliminate the scourge of these shooters once and for all. Pre-Requisite: Have interest in learning self-defense and avoidance techniques when dealing with an active shooter. Course length: 4-6 hours Cost: $65.00 (Discounted group pricing available) Start time: 9:00 a. m. (or TBD) What to bring: • Pen/Pencil and notebook • Comfortable clothing appropriate for classroom environment. • Coffee and Soft drinks will be provided. Note: this class covers graphic material
