Basic Carbine – AR15 Class Description This course will introduce students to the AR15 rifle platform. You will learn safe and effective techniques of cleaning, caring, and handling your rifle. You will also receive instruction on zeroing (sighting in) your rifle’s iron sights and/or optic, and proper shooting fundamentals from the prone, kneeling, and standing positions. Pre-Requisite: None Cost: $185.00 Course length: 1 day Start time: 9:00 am What to Bring • AR15/M4 Carbine Rifle • Sling (optional but recommended) • 150 rounds of ammunition • Two 30 round magazines • Eye protection • Ear protection (electronic preferred) • Shooting mat/pad or similar • Elbow and knee pads (optional but recommended) What to Wear • High-neck shirt/t-shirt • Closed-toe shoes • Pants or shorts with belt loops and loose pockets • Ball cap / sun visor
